Timea Sarkozi, BA (Hons), CFP, CDP
Was born in Budapest, Hungary, and came to Canada with her family, after living in England for a short period in 1981. She attended McMaster University, where she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree and has earned her Certified Financial Planners Designation. Timea entered the world of financial planning in mid 1992 and hasn't looked back since. Her clients are from all age groups and levels of income. She is conscientious in educating her clients about investments and other financial products. Getting to know her clients is Timea's number one priority because that is the only way she can assist them in achieving their long and short term financial goals. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course and earned her designation as a Certified Divorce Planner. She can independently shop the marketplace for the most suitable financial products for her clients. She communicates with her clients regularly and she is flexible in accommodating them by having extended office hours or by visiting them in their homes. She has volunteered for the United Way of Burlington, Hamilton-Wentworth and served a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the Burlington Art Centre. She supports a number of local charities and is a guest lecturer at McMaster University. Timea has conducted numerous educational seminars regularly in Burlington and Hamilton, and has been invited by various private and government organizations to address financial planning issues for women. She is founding president of the Burlington Chapter of Business Network International and is the president of the A.M. Business Network in Dundas. Timea is married and resides in Hamilton. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, the theatre, reading, movies, keeping fit and the outdoors. |
